The tent story
A few years ago the nature school in Meggen ordered a tipi with a diameter of 6m from us. If the lessons mainly take place outdoors, shelter is simply needed in bad weather. For the 2020/21 school year they expanded the nature kindergarten and nature school for the basic level and added an isolated 7m yurt with two glass doors. Next to the tipi and the yurt the children stand in the forest tarps and various material from "Walden Outdoor" to disposal. The tarps are a perfect complement and serve as optimal rain protection for the forest sofas.
The location is on the slope and the customer had to erect a platform for the yurt so that the yurt could even be placed. A round floor was also “placed” on the pedestal so that the rain runs over the outer shell onto the platform and cannot pull into the yurt below.
For a nature kindergarten or a nature school, our nature tents are the perfect addition. They blend in very nicely with the landscape and offer the children a warm, dry and pleasant space to learn, paint, play, do handicrafts, etc.
