Materials
Zeltwelt is fundamentally committed to a world that allows nature to remain. This mainly includes the use of natural materials such as wood and cotton. All of the material comes from Europe and all of our fabrics are refined, impregnated and treated against mold and are therefore ideally equipped for outdoor use. Various color combinations are also available on request.
Accessories
We offer various accessories and replacement material for our Chapiteaux. Whether dividable masts or a set of side poles, something can be reordered from us on request for all tent types. Ropes, tensioners and pegs are always available from stock. If you have any questions about furnishing and decoration options, we will be happy to help and advise you.
History
The shape of the festival tents was derived from the traditional and well-tried oval or round shape of the circus tents. The circus tent, also known as the big top (from the French chapiteau = capital), is still used today as a venue for performances. The technology for transportable tents of this size has only existed since the end of the 19th century. Previously, circus performances took place in permanent theater buildings or in show booths.
