THE SORRY END OF SPACE
With regret we have heard that the experienced tent manufacturer "Spatz" had to declare bankruptcy after a good 80 years. Despite various measures, it has unfortunately not been possible to continue the traditional Swiss company founded by Hans Behrmann 1935.
"Spatz" was a great asset to the world of natural tents!
MISSED COOPERATION
We only recently had contact with the production manager at “Spatz” and talked about an exchange and a possible collaboration. They were interested in the impregnation agent NikWaxwith which we use our tent fabrics maintain and new again the imprägnier. A personal visit to our exhibition was already planned, but unfortunately the current circumstances prevented it.
NATURAL TENTS WITH HISTORY AND TRADITION
Zeltwelt has devoted itself with heart and soul to the sale of natural tents and remains this segment seit 20 Jahren faithful! We produce sturdy natural tents with history and tradition out of conviction.
It cannot be ruled out that one day the former “Spatz” tent will find its way into the Zeltwelt Family will find. We would like to respect the legacy and history of «Spatz». If there is a demand for a «Spatz» alternative, we could use ours Production work out a concept.
